As a coach, management consultant and strategic advisor, Erik brings 20+ years of operating experience as a technology executive and thought leader for both emerging and established brands in the U.S. and overseas. He works with both pre-and post- revenue generating businesses, driving deep change at the individual, team and organizational levels. His results replace expensive missteps in scaling a business with proven strategies and tactics for growth and profitability.
Erik’s passion is directed towards unlocking leaders and their teams through a recipe of self development, mentorship and integration of leadership strategies and frameworks. He’s evolved this blended approach through his years as a technology steward for WarnerBros., Dreamworks SKG, Ticketmaster, Hollywood.com (sold to Times-Mirror, 1999), Qwest Communications, Luxury Link, and Evite. Additionally, he’s consulted for Riot Games, Holland America Cruise Lines, ESPN, Yokohama Tire Corporation, Cedars-Sinai, and Alaska Airlines.
In addition to coaching, Erik is an architect, facilitator, and a driver of efficiency. His work is viewed through the lenses of People, Process, Technology and Product. He is a practitioner of lean & iterative development, team health strategies, risk-assessment & mitigation, due diligence, capacity planning, KPI-driven operations, and revenue/expense forecast modeling.
Erik has been traditionally trained with a M.S. in Computer Science and is an industry speaker with a number of publications. He’s active in the West Coast startup and technology community, teaches at UCLA and sits on the board of several early stage ventures.
